Positive Direction for Youth & Families

Gdavisplays has partnered with PDY& F a faith-based nonprofit 501(c)3 public charity that offers program of services designed to enable families to overcome barriers to succeed in life.

Their services and programs are designed to form nurturing, close, affectionate and protective acceptance between their volunteers and members of the community that they serve.

It is their goal to provide individuals with skills, information, and the proper resources to carry out their family responsibilities. In addition, providing individuals with intellectual and emotional resources to grow and maintain a successful lifestyle.

Gdavis echoes the vision and values of PDY & F and will continue to join in with them to ensure that all youth and their families experience spiritual, financial, and relational prosperity, in a culture where community partnerships restore hope by embracing a balance of prevention, intervention, and advocacy.

Gdavis will continue to present productions with community based themes to raise funds to assist non profit organizations such as PDY & F.

Gdavis & Union Baptist Church

One of the things that attracted Gdavis and his wife to Union Baptist Church was the commitment to the youth. This is the second year that Union Baptist Church will run the Character Football League, giving youth an opportunity to participate in football, band, cheer leading, and other activities.

Recently Gdavis conducted a Character Workshop for over 60 young children from ages 7-15 at Union Baptist Church to share with them the importance of developing good study habits and understanding the 66 Character Traits. The students were put into several groups and each group conducted a short skit on a character trait of their choice.

At the end of the workshop, Davis challenged them to execute 3 Character traits a day for the rest of their lives and stated "It will make you a better person and it will also change the perception of of how people perceive you."
